April 2016- Developed preliminary cancer navigator app for clinical trials, pitched to UCSD clinical trials staff
June 2016- Gave care packages to cancer patients receiving treatment at the UCSD Cancer Center in Encinitas
July-September 2016- Started a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for care packages and gift cards
October 2016- Hosted a booth and bake sale at the CCA STEM Conference(ccascienceconference.weebly.com) to promote organization, raised money for Unsung Hero Caregiver Cards
December 2016-Gave care packages to the art therapy class at the UCSD Moores Cancer Center for the Holidays. 
February 2017-Gave restaurant gift cards to Unsung Heros, extraordinary caregivers.
June 2017- Began Fundraising for gasoline gift cards for patients, to ease the transportation burden 
October 2017- Gave gasoline and UBER gift cards to patients at the UCSD Cancer Center in Encinitas as well as care packages at the Superhero Survivors Party

Care Packages

Comfort bags are tote bags filled with a journal, fleece blanket, hand sanitizer, puzzle books, warm slippers, hats, and a plethora of other items. It is our intention to help ease patients in an anxious time

Please consider sponsoring a care package. These packages are delivered to UCSD cancer patients newly diagnosed and are a source of comfort, hope and solace in a difficult time.
